Leadership

  • Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

    Co-Owner

    Prior to founding A&R in 1977, Theo held positions at General Motors and Dow Corning and served as vice president of H.G. Parks Inc. – the first black-owned and black-operated publicly traded company in U.S. history.

    Theo currently serves as:

    Johns Hopkins Health System Trustee;

    University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation Trustee; and

    Vice Chairman/Director Caves Valley Golf Club.

    He is also Trustee Emeritus on the boards of:

    Johns Hopkins Medicine;

    Johns Hopkins Hospital; and

    Baltimore Community Foundation.

    His prior governance experience includes:

    Director/Trustee T. Rowe Price Funds;

    Director Baltimore Bancorp, and

    Vice Chairman/Director Injured Workers Insurance Fund of Maryland.

    Theo has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University and a MBA from the Harvard Business School.

  • Principal and Co-Owner

    Former President and COO

    Prior to joining A&R, Marjorie held senior leadership positions in the media and sports industries. She served as:

    Senior Director of Brand & Consumer Marketing for the National Football League;

    Vice President of Business Development for Oxygen Media; and

    Director and Special Assistant to the Chairman & CEO of ESPN.

    Early in her career, Marjorie worked as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and in brand management at Nestle Foods.

    Marjorie currently is a Board Director of:

    PNC Financial Services Group (NYSE: PNC);

    Exelon (NASDAQ: EXC); and

    Baltimore Equitable Insurance.

    She also is a Trustee of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Johns Hopkins Hospital and an active volunteer with various civic organizations focused on education and the arts.

    Marjorie has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Prior to joining A&R, Josh worked at CohnReznick as a Senior Audit Associate. During his 5+ years with the company, he audited companies in multiple industries including the New Markets Tax Credit program and non-profit clients.

    Josh has a B.S. in Finance from Wake Forest University and an M.S. in Accountancy from Wake Forest University.
